The people and people I made at Baylor have most certainly affected my life. Karen Pope in Art History. My major classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also went with her to Chicago and Paris to examine art. Her enthusiasm for art was quite enjoyable. She also said that "Art History is like an intricate puzzle. And as art historians, we keep trying to find the pieces that are connected." My family was raised in the car business by my father, and had to work at the dealership in the summer. I was a mechanic's aid changing oil and brakes pads one summer.
