 KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born August 19, 1965 is an American actor. She is most famous for her starring role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her portrayal Johnson.
